Enjoyed a Padron 1926 - Thanks, Joe - over a couple of lattes outside a cafe in the centre of Canterbury. I'm also off work this week, so I'm taking it easy. :cowboyic9:

Got to gawp at and listen to a lot of Europeans. Canterbury is excellent for that.

Also watched Vic Reeves stroll by three times very slowly during the hour I was there with his very young kids and his beautiful wife. He lives in this neck of the woods.

Sure was/is, COIV.

I'll be hanging about more like this this week.

On Wednesday evening I'm meeting another forum member called Nic Wing who is coming to my town. We intend to have a stogie bonding moment, and he wants me to help review a cigar-related sound recording he has made. More about that in a couple of days.

It's a real pain that there is nowhere to smoke indoors in the cold weather except on home turf. A civilised ruling would have allowed for a couple of decent places - bars, restaurants - in every town.

Discrimination?...
