I have a friend from there and he's told me that they do have good prices on cigars and nice duty free shops!

Turkey is a great place-lovely people and great food and weather. Dalaman Airport had a small selection but nothing special. Prices, I can't remember exactly, but I recall them being not as good as I'd hoped.

We'll be going to Izmir Province landing at Adnan Menderes Airport. I don't think Duty Free there is that good cigar wise. We do have a day trip to Istanbul planned, but that I'm guessing will be a bit organised and a rush. So, looks like just Gatwick on the way back. And the Gatwick threads don't look that promising!

Gatwick is nothing special at all cigar wise, limited selection and while the prices are lower than in the high street, they can be found for less. Plus you will need to buy them on the way out as you will not get near them on your return.
