Been there many times and usually stay at The Rock hotel. The whole island is smoker friendly and all prices are duty free. Best place to shop is Stagnettos in high street and ask for Loren or Joe

Stayed at the Caleta Palace. Recommended. Stagnettos is the best place to buy and most of the bars have open, grill style windows or if the weather is good, just sit outside and watch the world go by!

Stagnetto, of course! It's a LCDH and they have plenty of aged stock…

I have never been, but I have heard they have some really good aged stock and the prices are very competitive.:smoke:

They keep some excellent stuff, last time there I grabbed some Romeo Prince of Wales for less than £140 a box and they were from 1998 as well...lovely smokes:smoke:

I hope you didn't set off the smoke alarms, as I seemed to recall happening at a hotel in Falmouth during one of your (pre-ban) cigar & rum dinners? Also, as a consequence, didn't someone from the hotel ask politely if we could refrain from smoking (& get a not so polite response)?
