question re psp2?

just picked up a few boxes of psp2's from feb05 (original release) and noticed all the bands sit up relatively high compared to my psp2's from 06.

anyone else notice this in their early 05 psp2's? im not trying to authenticate these but was just curious. TIA

the 2 10ct on the left are 05 and the 25ct on right is 06..

Same here LOL.

If the bands, seals and boxes look right I would assume it is just another sign of the inconsistency in CUban cigar production; to me it almost looks as if the moulds used to press the two cigars are shaped slightly different and so one bands sticks higher up than the other which seems to be more tapered.

They do look slightly different shapes, never even considered that before!

The one I'm enjoying in my kitchen right now has the band higher. I haven't looked at the box but it is from 25 bought at the factory in October. Delicious, it is.

your bands look high as well. guess some 05s were just done this way for some reason.
