You coming back to the UK (our) forum
when there are hundreds just like it .
I for one have made many good friends here
and enjoy chatting with them and seeing
what they are doing day to day .
And even the ones I'm not so close with
I still enjoy reading about their antics as well !:41:

i'm fairly new to this particular forum but i like it because of the friendliness and helpfulness of the members. theres no eliteism- well not much ! - so cigar enthusiaists of all levels can participte.
and just like g-man i enjoy reading about the various activities the people here get up to.

In addition to the camaraderie, I enjoy the fact that we still actually discuss cigars!
So many of the other forums are so entrenched and jaded that virtually all conversations are OT with only an occasional reference to stogies.
And then, of course, my posties -- an opportunity to publish my rants at times.

As a self confessed newbie I'd have to admit that this is the first cigar related forum that I've signed up to, but from my experience so far I can't see the point in trying out any of the other ones.

Without the fun aspect .... it would bit too pedestrian and over-run with too many experts wanting to discuss micro-biological breakdown of individual tobacco leaves. Which is about as much fun and use to me, as a teasmade is to a slug!

To post anywhere else would just seem .... plain wrong somehow.
Best to avoid temptation and not even look.

Well this was the last forum I signed up to. And its the only one I use. all the others feel a bit rubbish and lack the ambiance, friendship and wisdom that UKCF throws at you.
I believe this is a product of its environment, as are all of us. You all made this a great environment.

Have had some easy and painfree purchases from some members on here and swapped some with another member.
All has been good.
I'm sure I'll be around for a while!

The friends that I have made. :biggrin1:
Like others have said, the fact that we actually discuss cigars, and that we are civil when doing it.
On many other boards, people are just brutal to one another. No need for that!

I like the discussions away from cigars. Don't get me wrong. I love cigars, but I'm not in the anorak league. I like it for music chat, joking around and virtual insanity. If it was about cigars and cigars only, I'd be bored.
Like a virgin, I do learn from the more knowledgable cigar men and RESPECT DEM.
It's a bit like having a chat with good neighbours on here. All is good.
There's a good deal of male camaraderie, too. That is not to exclude women - I'm not one of those twattish types - but it does seem like a laugh down the pub with the lads in its own way.
And I'm not actually like that in the flesh at all.
I like to throw all sorts of brain damage on here and that's why I value the site most.

I've been active in cigar forums for several years, going from member to moderator and now a forum owner. So I'm always interested in new forums, you never know when you'll make a new cigar friend.
Aside from the pompous asshole, know it all,no you cant ask a simple cigar question without being flamed type of cigar forums, most are full of friendly, ready to help at the drop of a hat types.
Someone mentioned this forum on mine,so of course I wanted to come see.
If the world had more BOTLs in it,it would be a much better place.
