My top cuban brand to age is swinging from partagas to upmann (but in 10 years with a cab of old lusitanias, im sure ill see the light)
I REALLY love the sophisticated, mild creamy taste of old upmanns. its everything an aged cigar should be, so so different to a young cigar. so much CLASS!
ive tried a few aged sancho panza belicosos, and there are similarities between these and aged upmann, but these win.

the gloriosos i will try to keep for a few years, they were good but not great, give em time.

Sadly my box of edmundo dantes el conde may have been destroyed:mad::mad:, at least I can weep whilst smoking these fine buggers

SP Belicosos were the first Belicosos I ever tried, but like yourself i still prefer the Upmann.

I'm a big fan of the Gloriosos. The first box I bought. A lovely cigar, can't imagine what the ones that are still in my humi will be like if I can lay off them for a couple of years.

Lascaux, which aged Upmanns have you tried/ recommend? I've heard the 08 and 09 Sir Winstons are good now and so might be a good option to age... I got the Mag 50's and they're good now.. hopefully keep them a while.

Ive never tried La Gloria Cubana but ive read a lot about them, the Upmann range is however rather nice IMO :smoke:

the '97 winstons ive tried are beautiful, as are the '01 no 2's. i really wanted to buy a box of the 97 winstons but they're damn expensive. sometime down the line i will get some current production to age.

ill have to try an aged 46 again as the last I tried was before my upmann revelation

ive found the 50s very very hit and miss, but i only smoked them very early on in my smoke experience, without age on and havent smoked any recently.

have to say as well, i tried an 08 no2 and an '01 no2 back to back and the difference was incredible. even though its such a mild brand, something about it lends itself to serious age.

ive got eca sep01 hu#2s and they are delightful cigars. i had 07s as well, but they arent even worth smoking just yet and probably need more than a couple years to shine.

although ive read lots of positive feedback on the gloriosos, they just arent my thing.
