I just took in a nice deep drag on my partagas d4 and then the telephone rang, without thinking I inhaled the lot right into my lungs! Jesus that felt painful, I nearly threw up. What's the worst experence you've had of accidently inhaling cigar smoke into the lungs?

Yes, please elaborate. You've got the start of an excellent anecdote there, please flesh it out a bit. :849:
Inhaled once, accidentally. Was choking for days.

An episode in a misspent youth. It happened on a totally wreaked, 2 mile walk-back back from a hotel in Santa Christina where I had tried un-successfuly to get my wicked way with a very attractive Dutch lady, to where I was staying in a the in Lloret, shared with ten of my football playing mates.
At the time I smoked B&H, but had ran out. The shop in the young ladies hotel was shut, which wasn't surprising because dawn was just breaking. However, the night porter was good enough to give me one of his cigars. (Brand, origin unknown). So off I went on my walk back. Around half way or wherever I decided to smoke the thing. Well half-cut, half-trotting and dodgy cigars don't go well together, and try as I would I couldn't get the bugger to light. I tried one match, then another, then swearing and you have to remember I was traveling quite quickly over rough ground and tall grass (all hotels now most like), .... when Bang .... I ran straight into the flank of a horse. I looked up, and sitting on the horse in his metal hat and machine pistol slung across his chest was a Guarda Civil; well, he looked at me and I remember he wasn't much older than myself, shook his head in a way that expressed his opinion of drunken British tourists, said nothing and allowed me on my way.
I never did get to smoke the cigar. I chucked it when I was out of the Guarda's sight.

Worst experience I had was with HdM Excalibur (non cuban) that had a fair number of years on it. The cello was very yellow...
I hadn't had much to eat, and it really knocked me on my ass - havn't felt anything like it since. I had to go and lie down for about an hour just to recover.

I smoked a Boli BF on an empty stomach.
Knocked me down for the rest of the day.
Didn't dare tell the Missus, I would have got a bollocking!

Accidentally?
Unlike our former prezzydent Clinton, I inhale everything.
Worst experience, however, was with catnip. I figured it works on the cat... why not? Tasted like... well... burning catnip. Gave me a headache and no buzz at all. Never did figure out what the cat saw in it...

At a cigar tasting a friend gave me a Camacho Corojo, and when I smoked it I felt that I was on fire, I had tears rolling down my face because the cigar was so spicy.

As a smoker in my 20's, I used to, of course, inhale fags so when I had the odd cigar I used to do the same and it felt like someone had stamped on my chest so I was completely put off cigars until I read Shanken's book where I found out NOT to inhale. I owe everything to that book :)
