Saturday night I settled down to a Cohiba Robusto, Not my first and looking back now I dont think it tasted like it normally does.

I didnt think anything else about it until I started feeling bad when I woke which got worse throught the day. by the afternoon I started feeling sick & dizzy.
Did I eat something funny? dont think so. I ate the same as the wife who was fine.
Monday & Tuesday came and went. had a few panic moments when I trusted a fart too much.
Then in the early hours of this morning all hell broke loose and have been glued to the pan ever since with stomach cramps and sickness.

A bug or food poisoning? could it be the cigar or is that just coincidence?
Someone mentioned that the cigar could have been moldy inside. Anyone ever seen or had this before.
Could a cigar make you that ill?

Doubt it Boss, not unless there was something worse than mold rolled-up inside it. Mold I think you would have spotted, and if there was a bit inside the cigar, you incinerated it as you smoked it anyway.

No me old mate, I think you've got the same as I've woken up with this morning, a jippy tummy an' bog visits which smell like someone's dragged a corpse in!

i've had a cigar make me feel nauseous, prob like everyone else at some stage, but not the full-on armageddon like that.
Hope you recover soon.

Sounds like stomach flu to me.

Cigar can nauseate you, make you dizzy, things of that sort, but your symptoms are more biological than Nicotiana-related.

Hope you're feeling better soon, BTW...

priceless! :biggrin1:

I don't think a cigar would have caused illness as such.

This could be a possibility !
The right temp, humity and germs can spread!
From another forum a brother Rants about disrespect

I’m in one the B&Ms I shop at a lot and I have been going there for years and everyone that works the counter knows me and my kid !
Now when I look at cigars I’m thinking of buying I like to hold it, squeeze it, smell it, etc... If it has a cello on then it is not an issue but an un-cello cigar, well you know... Anyway I pick up the new Alec Bradley Prensado (which they want $16 per cigar) and the guy in charge whom is always cool yells "Frank don’t pick up the cigars!" Everyone in the the place heard him and stopped and looked at me! I felt so embarrassed! Usually I would buy the cigar but $16 bucks for a Prensado I have never tried! I was upset! He could have told me nicely or in private! I know handling un-cello cigars can crack or damage the wrapper and they will never sell... but still I’m not an idiot and have finesse with handling cigars, and the way he yelled and embarrassed me I don’t think I will be going back!
What do you guys think?
I think if you want to buy the fucking thing why all the foreplay.
This could be how you picked up the Bug Boss ! IMHO

Cigar transmitted diseases? Must say I hadn’t thought of that one G-man, and leprosy isn’t unknown in the Caribbean, so maybe a torcedores finger fell off, and that’s what Boss smoked?

Had a few green moments after smoking something too strong on an empty stomach, but never experienced anything like that mate.

Hope your starfish has recovered Boss.:p

all things being equal the most likely answer will probably be correct.
1. A freak incident only backed up by myth and legend that you suffered from a cigar inflicted bacteria
2. You got hit by one of the many stomach flu's / vomiting virus's that are doing the rounds

hmmmmmm.... what could it be

wish you better buddy.
