Here are some preliminary shots.
A little outisde picture to show the craftmenship - Bob does some fantastic work - a little larger then I thought so it had to go in the basement not proper surrounding but hey it works

I was surprise I filled it up pretty good - now I have space I am sure the buying fever will start again
http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/3970/065x.th.jpg (http://img214.imageshack.us/i/065x.jpg/)
Single drawers are surprising roomy - still have to get my singles from the "old" humidor.

Got to do some arranging and get thing more in order but I was anxious to see how much space I was working with.

Will post more when the balance gets loaded in and I figure out an arrangment strategy

Wow, I'm gobsmacked, Kudos! You have a larger collection than my local tobbacconist.
I feel rather inadequate with my 75 count humidor and my 11 Saint Luis Rey Regios. Nevermind eh? Next month I'll be able to afford a box of Juan Lopez or H. Upmann and I'll be on my way to getting a collection like that....
some day.
Amazing haul.

Yeh, I noticed those as well. A damn good idea if you have the room.
Anyway, very impressive humi.

I'll look for the link for the plastic tubes they are very heavy and come with a cap - I have not put on the cap as I am wanting to make sure they are right RH wise before I seal them.
I have a larger then needed collection as my location doesn't allow me to walk down to the local tobbacanist and get smokes. Also with 6 months of harsh winter it limits smoking time.
Thanks for all the kind comments

Wow amazing, where did you get your humi, Im guessing it's a custom build judging from 'blabla' did a good job? Got any links / contact info?

It is now a painful thing to look at my inferior collection. I'll have to send the wife a picture of this to show her what needs to happen next.

Wow what a collection, I wish I had the room and the money to build a collection like that it puts my set up to shame.

That is a thing of beauty, both the humidor and the collection. Mine seems pitifully insignificant now. Now it’s time to fill it to the brim then refill your old one.

Excellent piece of furniture there, shame it doesn't fit somewhere where it could take center stage. It already looks quite tightly packed, how many fans do you have to circulate the air inside?

Beautiful stuff K Baz...
Some very nice smokes tucked away there... :41:

Can I ask what humidifier system you have in the cabinet?
K Baz

I don't want to guess at the value as I would rather not know
I am working to fill this one but the old one was a wine cooler and is now become the home of my port collection (needs lots of work)
The unit comes with a "set it and forget it" system which has some powerful fans in it and there are a couple of other fans wired in it. It is not packed to tight the collection is all faced as I was only worried about getting it in.

Link to the humification system (one on the left) and the site that made my unit

Nice collection and cabinet K baz...:biggrin1: one thing to note before you fill it too far!..... get a spirit level and check it's sitting level, the floor may not be perfect, looking at the shut line, front right corner needs to be packed up a mill or two (sorry a 1/32 or two!) you don't want it under any stress at all as it adjusts to your environment, the hard wood panels on the sides are best sat with no diagonal force on them, however small. :smoke:

What you need next is a heated smoking room It would be a shame to loose six months of smoking time to the weather.

100 % thanks for the heads up. I had noticed and I am out to the cabin today to do repairs and I will pick up a shim.
No worries you can talk metric to me I am Canadian - way more so then imperial. When I speak with my father I have to measure in inches and markers as I can not read imperial worth a damn. "It's 32 inches and like 2 markers." Drives him insane.

Headed smoking lounge is on the way but it will not be for two years (hopefully) the 6 month of non smoking reminds you how lucky you are when you can smoke. Hate to see if I could smoke year round I would be spoiled. Maybe if I can win a gold medal in the olympics I can finally smoke inside in winter - but at best that only solves my problems once every 4 years.
