i have recently taken up pipe smoking also, and am enjoying it tremendously!
i live on a small farm in tennessee.
i enjoy the outdoors,trading with friends and bombing strangers.

I would drink JB befor JD, but Dickels` whisky reminds me of a Whisky called Springbank, which is produced on the West coast of Scotland in Campbeltown.

Dickel is head and shoulders above the rest IMO.:hail:

Years since I tasted it Shuckins.

From memory it was quite sweet to taste, but I did have a few bottles in the house years ago, so it could not have been that bad.:p

I am sure that it used to compliment the likes of a Partagas or Bolivar, due to its sweetness.

i'm still fairly new to the pipe,less than a year puffing,but i have enjoyed many different tobaccos. i like most burleys, i usually smoke virginas,but have been sampling some english and like it pretty well. the aromatics i've tried have too much bite/burn for me most times,although i still smoke 'em on occasion. i'm always interested in trying different tobaccos,both pipe and cigar!
