I love loads of artists. I'll be back with more.
My favourite contemporary artist is Rachel Whiteread.
I love a piece of work by her called HOUSE.
Here it is:

Here is some information about what she tries to do in her work:

The one and only 'Salvador Dali'
Just one of many paintings that I could look at for hours is-
The hallucinogenic Toreador - 1970

But also many, many more! :hail:

Hieronymus Bosch, Francis Bacon, Aubrey Beardsley and Erte for me.
And of course George Petty (and Alberto Vargas) of "petty girl" fame.

I quite like damien hurst's art :smoke:
Rolf Harris:biggrin1: just kidding, not really into my artists and am not an arty type person, however, and just to provoke a friendly debate, I tend to like what I call "traditional" art, ie, paintings, sculpture etc etc, I fail to see how putting a cow or a sheep in a box is art, but then that's just my opinion and I'm sure other people love that sort of stuff, as I said just a friendly debate.

Good taste my friend. :smoke: I must agree with you, although Andy Warhol tops my list as of right now.

If I had the guts to remortgage my house I'd've bought the Diamond skull... it was awesome!

I second the choice of Dali. For me it's Geopoliticus Child Watching the Birth of the New Man.

On the more Classical side, I like a nice Turner.
Here's The Fighting Temeraire.
Ugly steam tug pulls a redundant sailing ship to its grave.
Grand. Sad.
Clear what was intended.
