Well, an excellent offer from Mitchell at CGars was taken up (by 25 cigars, get a humi for a penny). Once again it was great doing business with the CGars team, and I got a cheeky little freebie (a candle ).
Anyway, a few pics of the delivery:

Above: The RyJ No2 tubos (with 'free' minis), the gorgeous H&F aged Le Hoyo du Dauphin cab (:849:), the 1p humidor (bottom right) and the gifted smelly candle (smells great by the way).

Above: Le Hoyo du Dauphin (1998), H&F aged cab. I was virtually drooling over these as I opened them up, they just looked fantastic and the aroma was excellent.

Above: The RyJ No2 tubos... took them out, smelled exactly like you expect an RyJ tubo to smell...

It's one of only a couple of things I've ever bought through eBay. CJ had one and I liked the look of it, so checked out eBay and there it was. :biggrin1:
Rest assured people, a review will follow in due course, probably in a couple of weeks.

Those Dauphins ought to be quite nice. I haven't had any of the vitola from that year, but I've had other Le Hoyos from 98 that keep me seeking them out. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

I was just about to PM you asking for some pics of that 1p humidor but then realised you would ofcourse have already posted pics ;)
Any idea which model it is on the Cgars site? I want to find out about sizes and see some more pics of it.

Hi moppy - I'm back in Plymouth tomorrow afternoon, I'll take some more pics of the humi for you (with some cigars in).
As far as I can tell, it's this one (http://www.cgarsltd.co.uk/bargain-cherrywood-humidor-cigar-capacity-p-5501.html). An excellent humidor, simply phenomenal for a penny. :849:

Definitely. Im very close to convincing a friend to split 25 cigars with me so hopefully one of those will be in my grubby mitts soon!
Im guessin smokeymo is good enough to chuck in the humidifying thing and the hygrometer with the humidor?
Simon-JG-hr

Yep, the hygrometer is part of the humi anyway (magnetic attachment). There's also a humidifier included (also magnetic), which, I have to say, is the best I have seen apart from the Boveda style pillows and/or electrontic humidifiers.
As is standard with CGars (and a sign of their excellent service ;) ), they always include the vital bits and pieces to get a humidor up and running - so a bottle of humidification solution is included too.

Noice. Im wondering if I could somehow get him to swap the humidor for this (http://www.cgarsltd.co.uk/prestige-chalet-cherry-humidor-cigars-capacity-p-8027.html) one for a a fiver extra or so. Afterall if something is worth doing, its worth doing well no? :849:

Okay then, a pic of todays delivery from CGars - the 1p Charatan PC, a Punch Serie d'Oro UK RE, a Trinidad Ingenios 2007 LE, a Chinchalero Picadillos and an ERdM Tainos.
I went for the Chinchalero as a few people on here have ordered some of their cigars and they look so good in the pics, so thought I'd better get one for myself to try!

And for moppy, a pic of the '1p humidor' full of cigars (on the left, the 1998 Le Hoyo du Dauphins and on the right, an RyJ Duke 2009 LE and three of my five remaining LGC Gloriosos 2009 UK RE.

Oooh thanks for the pic! How many cigars have you got in there currently? It looks quite spacious!

There are (or were until about an hour ago), 25 panatelas (the du Dauphins), one super dooper robusto (RyJ Duke) and five double robustos/toros (LGC Gloriosos). Not a bad size at all.
