Hi guys,

after taking advice from you guys I just ordered an ERdM petit corona cigar with a cutter and matches.

Can't wait for them to arrive and test them. So this might be a good start. I'm definitely looking forward to this.

I had to post this :41:

Take care guys!

I love threads like this because I know how much you are going to enjoy this cigar. It's one of my real favourites, small, plump and creamy. (but like Linsay Lohan used to be in her prime).

He he he, can a 50 stick humidor and a three jet lighter be far behind!!!

Excellent choice! One of my favourite smokes. I like the petit corona size (not to big, but still gives you time to get into it) and ERdM is a quality brand (in my opinion - I love them!)... Happy smoking, let us know how it goes. :849:

First class smoke, the ERDM and JL PC are two of the best IMO.Difficult to choose between the two.:41:

Aye I can't wait and if they are creamy. Yum yum can't wait to light that beauty. Erm 50? Geez hopefully not. I don't wanna ruin myself. I wouldn't be able to maintain that sort of exclusive lifestyle :D

Will try my best but don't expect a long professional review. I'd do it my style :)

You were actually the reason why I went for that cigar. It better be good! lol. Cgars recommended the Montecristo No4 but I stuck with your recommendation.

:849: The Monte No4 is the best selling Cuban cigar on the planet... That said, I've never really been completely won around by the Montes I've smoked - they've been smokeable enough, I just think that they're not necessarily all they're cracked up to be.

Well, I'm sure you'll love it... or more accurately now that I know it is upon my head, I pray you will... ;)

Cigar inspected and about to smoke outside. Photos taken but my phones camera isn't that good so hope you can see something.

So excited and hopefully I won't make a mistake cutting it or lighting it with matches.

Anyway here are some pictures. Not the best ones but hey.

Let us know how it smokes!

I have a box of the Choix Supremes that are a great morning (or anytime really) smoke.

I think he might have died...

I hope I'm not implicated in his death, what with having recommended the cigar responsible for his demise.

Sorry guys forgot to write about my first experience with the cigar. First of all got it lit ok very evenly and using matches.

The smoke was superb and it tasted like sweet tobacco with a hint of coffee in the beginning with a subtle taste of pepper. This changes at the begin of the second /3 when it changes the character for a wee while and become a bit more dramatic.

The last 3rd when I nearly 'burned' my hands it was lively and a joy to smoke. Had to stop then as my head became light and I was feeling funny.

All in all the best 50 mins spent yesterday evening.

Of course I've got clean fingernails :D

Was a very good cigar :)

Ahahahaha.

Now what could be another nice cigar that is more creamy / coffee like. I liked the taste of a bit leather and would love to try a different make. This of course wouldn't stop me of buying a box of ERdM petit Coronas.

Could you guys suggest (very) creamy coffee like cigars?

Trinidad Reyes would be a good shout. If you want to splash out on a single, then I've always found the Cohiba Exquisitos to be wonderful and creamy - very smooth.

Try the Trinidad Reyes, the smaller Hoyo de Monterey (Petit Corona up) or as a new starter some of the smaller fatter Dominican Davidoffs are nice (having reacquainted myself with them recently).

I have a couple of the Monte Opens in my Humidor for a little age, has anyone got an update on these? They were supposed to be for 'new starters' but got some mixed reviews at launch and don't appear to be exactly 'flying out of the doors according to a recent discussion with a retailer.
