The Especiales look really good and I think they will be an exceptional smoke.
I have been trying to source the ERDM Balthasar for a little while now without much success.

Post a review of how they smoke, as I would be really interested.

Another request for a review as and when you whip out the ERdMs. They look extremely good, and being ERdMs, I'm sure they are wonderful...

I tried one of the El Rey's last year, Vikingos if I remember correctly. It was a very decent smoke! A full review is on the ClubHavana UK forum, have a look before it shuts down for good at the end of the month :41:

Nice looking haul! I haven't heard of many people getting there hands on Italian Regional Editions.

Let us know how they are when you try your first one.

How were the prices in Italy compared to here?

1st draw gave up honey on wholemeal toast with a draw that was neither too tight nor too loose, perfect infact. The 1st 3rd remained like this and also gave me an underlying flavour I couldn't quite put my finger on. This continued into the second 3rd and I decided it was a very faint rosemary taste. Plenty of white creamy smoke with a hint of blue neon inside. Faultless burn and strong ash. Flavours developed into cracked black peppercorns with a hint of earthy leather and the spice getting stronger.

Cheers for posting up the review Barny, sounds great , as a ERDM fan, I think they will be a good smoke, they where €112 a box, they only had one or I'd have brought another to swap, the duke's where €130 so 18/20% less than uk, maybe not the cheapest in the EU but the Italian RE's are obviously only available there so a win win on those....:smoke:

Barney, I've copied it over and popped a wee edit at the end with a link to this thread. Have a look and if it is all ok, you can delete your earlier post on here:smile:

Lovely looking cigars Andy, the whole lot:thumb: I think the REs were '08.
Good to see you picked up some Alberto specials too!
