My name is Jim and I'm a tobaccoholic.

I, too, have come over from Club Havana. I'm 37, live in Gloucester, and have been smoking cigars for about 7 years. My board name comes from a pipe website where I'm a moderator. I started on pipes back in 2003 in order to kick a 17 year roll-up ciggy habit. Best thing I ever did, since it led me on to Cubans. I smoke Cubans whenever I can afford it (going to Amsterdam next week - Hajenius here I come - so picking some up whilst there) but tend to smoke cheap NCs most days (Havana Sandwich being my current dogwalker fave).

Other hobbies include motorcycling (I'm an Observer for the I.A.M.), playing video games, single malts and pipe smoking.

Look forward to staying here a while.

Welcome Jim, ive got a pipe too!! rarely use it though i seem to be more cigar orientated than the pipe, but when ive been a little short of cash, ive always flaked the ends of my cigars to put aside and smoke in the pipe.. lol :biggrin1:

Gloucesters a nice place, i used to live in Swindon before being relocated up to Lincolnshire, lots of nice roads in Gloucestershire as well as here for biking. Was out today on mine and it howled down, got home and was drenched through, everything, gloves, socks, leathers.

Anyway, this is the place to be for cigar info to share, includes cigars.. Did you check the rules? all new members have to send this guy called eggopp a cigar to test, to ensure there genuine newbies... :biggrin1: :smoke:

Welcome to the forums Jim.

Is it just me or do pipe smokers always look totally relaxed and satisfied, well just as much as cigar smokers?

Hey Jim
Thanks for tuning in.

How opportune, I was looking at my pipes in the Cybersmoking shed and thinking that it's about time I invested in a new tin for the start of the fishing season.

If you have any ideas on something light to medium and tasty without being 'flavoured' I'd welcome your thoughts.
Ta and welcome.
