Recently got batch of robustos (Don Kikki Red Label - Nicaraguan I think), which are too full bodied for me. Nice build build, nice draw, nice taste - but just too much strength for me.

I have heard cigars mellow out with age. If so, how long do I need to keep them for? 6 months? A year? Longer?

I am not the most patient of people so if its a 10 year wait, I will get rid of them now!

Just while I am talking about ageing cigars - what is the longest anyone has kept a cigar for? And can cigars, kept in a proper humidor, last indefinitely?

Thanks,

David.
