Is anyone else watching the Pacific tonight? Just started....HD all the way baby!!
This will be an amazing true-life mini-series

I have been! Its a great series.

I loved the Band of Brothers series and this is equally as good!

I tried to get into Band of Brothers but it just wasnt very interesting for me. Im not really a war film kinda guy though. So will pass on this.

Just finished wathing The Pacific. Awesome think this will be as good as Band of brothers.

Also looked amazing in HD.

Can't wait till next Monday.

I really enjoyed the Band of Brothers series and this one looks good too - not as good as BOB but it's early days.

I have recorded it on Sky+ ready to watch sometime this week. Hope it lives up to the hype as I enjoyed Band Of Brothers.

I've been eagerly anticipating this for some months now! So glad that it's on Sky Movies (no annoying ad-breaks etc). Excellent first couple of episodes. Straight off the bat, though, I'm not sure it's quite going to live up to Band of Brothers - but there's a lot of top quality film to come - it may well prove my initial impression wrong (it's still damn good and it's certainly got the pedigree).
