Normally wouldn't post about a single purchase but I got this entirely due to the influence of these boards : JL2

I had never even heard of these before I landed on these forums, and so many people so positive about them I figured I'd give one a try :)

My local tobacconist keeps his gars at 75%RH, so for now it is recovering in my humi, but I'll report back here on my reaction to it in a week or so. I wouldn't dare do a full review :)

Likewise, Ive been through 3 boxes since then! A hidden gem although very popular here due to steevieboys constant praise (I'm sure he gets a cut from each sale )

I'm not fussed by them tbh. They're ok but obviously I have different tastes to the majority above.

Good buy Daize. Much like for you, the JL2 had flown well and truly under my radar until I joined these parts. Had a couple now, enjoyed both very much. One of the top cigars in my book.

Forgot to mention that I love the smell of this JL2's wrapper and foot. If the actual smoking experience is as good I will be very happy :)

Couldn't wait any longer, smoked this tonight. One of the better constructed cubans I have smoked. I found it medium/light, very fine and sophisticated. Some caramel and mocha and a bit of pepper. I quite enjoyed it but it was just a bit too subdued for me. Maybe I didn't let it recover long enough in the humi. I would definitely smoke another, but I might not buy a box. In terms of similarily priced cigars I'd personally prefer an HdM Epi2 or a Mag46.
