Luton and zurich

hey there,

Ive got a couple of friends going abroad, one via luton to some exotic location and another from Heathrow to zurich.

Anyone have recent experience of these places and any idea what sort of prices I can expect. Im hoping to place some orders but not sure whats best.

The prices at both these airports aren't over inspiring. Luton has a very limited supply. Sometimes there is a monte 40-50% off thing going on at Heathrow, and if you're at the right terminal not a bad selection.

I'm not sure but I wold have thought Zurich and "undisclosed exotic" location were better bets!

The exotic refers to somewhere in Turkey but because I have no idea where exactly (or which airport) its slightly unhelpful. :(

The shop in Zurich airport is nothing to be talking about... 2 small shops (davidoff), only selling boxes and 3-5 packs (no singles).

Now, if your friends have a few hours to spend in zurich, there is a few nice shops in town. The better of the ones I came across were the LCDH and Tabac-Ladeli, both in walking distance from eachother and from the central train station.

Prices are generally cheaper than the UK, but don't expect to find the prices we see on the swiss websites!

None of the holiday airports in Turkey have a good selection of Cuban cigars except Istanbul Ataturk Airport.
