um.............:41: The jury's still out until I try at least 50 different Cubans. I'm only at about 7 or 8. So far I'd have to say Cohiba Esplendido.
Favorite NC? Padron 40th Anniversary Maduro. :41:

Greetings UKF,
This is my first post at this forum and I'm pleased to announce that I agree with both Robusto and Cohibo VI - my two favorite CCs are the Siglo VI and the CoRo, respectively. That is, of course, unless I have access to the Cohiba Sublime EL 04, which is my ultimate go-to cigar when the moment warrants the best. :cowboyic9:

Hmmm...tough one but I'd probably go for the Siglo VI (or Trini Reyes :p)

A very hard choice, but out of regular production the Siglo IV is always excellent, especially with a few years on it.
From limited editions, the Cohiba Reserva Selection is fantastic, whichever vitola you try from the box.

I've always had my eye on that box Ramon. One of my HK places has the set for about $640. Hefty price now that the Pound is worth shit  I have a single corona especiales that was gifted to me but as it's the only one I have, I can't bring myself to smoke it :p

I can't believe I've unearthed TJ's debut Post .... I thought he was Jurassic!
Anyway, the thread's Cuban favourite list is currently:-
Cohiba Siglo II x 1
Cohiba Siglo IV x 2
Cohiba Siglo VI x 1
Cohiba Robustos x 1
Cohiba Esplendidos x 1
Cohiba Sublime EL 04 x 1 (TJ Corro)
Cuaba Distinguidos x 1
H.Upmann Mag. 50 LE 05 x 1 (Ryan)
Montecristo No2 x 1
Ramon Allones Specially Selected x 1
So I was thinking maybe we could use this idea (in the same way we voted to get rid of a Cuban Brand) this to discover the overall Forum favourite PRODUCTION Cuban cigar. I've omitted RE's and EL's because the premiums put them a little outside the pocket range of some of us and it levels the playing field a bit.
To which I have deleted Ryan and TJ's LE's listings, (Ryan and TJ can now vote again) and added mine. So the list now looks:-
Cohiba Siglo II x 1
Cohiba Siglo IV x 2
Cohiba Siglo VI x 1
Cohiba Robustos x 1
Cohiba Esplendidos x 1
Cuaba Distinguidos x 1
Montecristo No2 x 1
Ramon Allones Specially Selected x 1
Trinidad Reyes x 1
Simply copy and paste the list and add a new cigar as I've done or add 1 to the total of a cigar already in the list.
One vote per Forum Member only.
Cut off date: 30 Nov. 2010.
The result should be interesting. And if enough people pick-up on the thread maybe a kind Mod re-head it.

I couldn't pick one just yet,
but I'd give nods to the Monte 2, Cohiba Robusto, and the Partagas SD4.

I can't believe I've unearthed TJ's debut Post .... I thought he was Jurassic!Ah, the days when he posted sense and/or about cigars. It was a terrible day when he had 'that' accident with an enchilada. He's never been the same since.
As for the thread. I'm not biting. :eviltongue: I don't have a favourite - it's all dependent upon the mood. Sentimentally it would possibly be the ERdM PC - but I wouldn't call it my favourite (as in go to/best).

I agree (as so often) with Simon JG, it's an impossible choice. I have tried 200 + different Cuban vitolas & rarely smoke more than 4 0r 5 of the same stix a yr (the beniefit of having a large aging collection). But for the sake of the game (certianly better than deleting a cigar) I'll go for the Esplendosis. I'll chose this one coz it's my non El/RE special smoke for Birthday & celibrations & what I chose to smoke on the day I caught my first twenty pound pike. It's always a special moment to cut & light an Espi' pour a suitable malt (always whiskey for me with Cohibas) & kick back & savour every dammn expensive puff:41:. One a more normal playing field I would go for the Monte No2, very consistant these days & always feels like an occasion when holding & smoking one. For an lunch time/mid afternoon smoke Hoyo Epi No2.

Nothing to do with cost Cat. More to do with access. We've loads of US and newbee BOTL who either can't get or haven't yet progressed into LE's.
I just wanted something everyone could join in on. Nothing wrong in starting Cat's Favourite LEs thead though!

I am not a cohiba fan! Absolutely ...I am a partagas fan,but if you wont something really good ,with a real personality, style, elegance ,and well balanced, must smoke cohiba classic line or behike.Than each of us has a different taste and opinion ,but now the unique brand with a real identity is cohiba.
The rest of the production in funcion of the size are really good but so similar that is very hard find differents.....So a lot of fantastic cigars but without personality.
Is like drive a Aston Martin,Ferrari,or porche and not find differents....Fantastic cars but if you don't find differents not has sense....Fortunatly on these cars we can try big differents!!!hehehehehehh

If really pushed I would say my consistently favourite smoke would be a Monte No.4. There were others in the running, but the No.4 clinched it on account that I've never really had a bad one and I've smoked hundreds. Here's the updated list:

Bolivar Royal Coronas x 1
Cohiba Siglo II x 1
Cohiba Siglo IV x 2
Cohiba Siglo VI x 2
