Gents,
I am off to Plovdiv Bulgaria for a couple of weeks with my F-15's...and a few cigars of course.
Can anyone tell me about the cigar scene over there?
I am told that counterfit cigars are a big concern.
If anyone follows Twitter, I will be posting updates on the exercise from the location.
Cheers,

Let's see, Bulgaria as a whole..Beautiful countryside, awsome flyoing weather, but never really got into the food, nor could I tell you what their traditional dishes were. Plovdiv: 1950's Soviet Union. Seemed very run down, especially the roads. People were friendly.
Cigars...quite expensive given the good exchange rate for the US dollar. Anyplace outside of a major hotel or airport I would be suspect of. Counterfit items/cigars were aplenty!
MIG-21's and MIG-29's were no match for the 15's. Climb, turn, and especially pilot proficiency is waaaay behind. Their teams were eager to learn though.

Sounds like a productive trip though.
