Having put on a stone and a half this year (it's been stressful) my loose new year resolution is to lose weight!! I lost 5st four years ago, whilst I can't see me losing that much, fitting a bit better into suit for school would be nice. It's horrible teaching when you don't feel comfortable!!

Robusto you are genius.

Mine's not to drink (much) during the week, which is also making me put on weight.

Deano - I know, love!

TJ - I want to lose weight. I had to lose several stones before an operation just over a year ago. I worked out the biggest calorie-packer is COCA COLA (full strength). Unfortunately, I am addicted to it again. I don't drink alcohol, so I get through a 2l bottle a day easily. I am turning into a lardarse again.

I didn't know you were a teacher. Another one, hey?! Well we must be the classy profs with the penchant for good cigars.

We are the Havana intelligentsia (sp?). :cowboyic9:

Aww Robusto, you need to start pulling yourself off the coca cola!! Then again diet coke or coke zero aren't much better, and tbh alcohol is not the right thing to get majorly addicted to!! Maybe coca cola isn't such a bad idea!!

Re the teaching, I like the idea of being a classy prof, maybe I should chuck that description of me into conversation with my tutor group, although I'm sure they'd bring me back down to earth pretty quickly!!

Robusto,

Brilliant mate..! Very elegant and expressive performance...the only thing that might improve it is doing that with a lit cigar in your mouth...the smoke would make very artistic patterns about you...maybe a new Olympic event in the making there, what do you think?

Re resolutions...eat less, drink more, be less grumpy, be a better Dad, make more time to do fun stuff with my own squeeze. Not too ambitious maybe, but probably more than I'm likely to achieve. :biggrin1:

Twas my birthday yesterday - fifty-bloody-two. Crap time was had by me. The rest of the year has got to be better than this!!

Keep up the cigar porn.

Cheers, Wild.

I pride myself on my lithe movements. :biggrin1:

I typed GAY COWBOY into Google and that YouTube clip of the expressive dancer turned up top of the list that day.

I just did it again and it was far fruitier, my love. This chap's not on top any more.

There is a whole series of stuff in a list of related clips called the Gay Olympics.

I haven't investigated.

I may be adding some deft footage when my new stetson ships up, though.

PS My own kids think it's me.

I thought I'd got away with it.

I intend to try a lot more cigars this year. I'm 57 in February (Where have all the years, hair and teeth gone?) and the wife is going to treat me by watching some of her hard earned go up in smoke.

Being a relative newcomer to this delicious vice I am looking forward to some good times this year.
I need to lose weight, the old knees are playing up a bit now.

I've always wanted to write a book, a murder mystery or comedy, so I'd better do it now before I run out of time, or ideas.
