After my band's gig tonight, my first cigar of 2009 will be a trusty and glorious Partagas Serie D4. :cowboyic9:

This morning I enjoyed an exquisite Punch Rare Corojo Saturn V which was sent to me by CoIV as a birthday present. It was awesome. I am indebted and am very grateful.

It was a longer smoke than I am used to, and the flavour grew and soared as I worked at it.

Always good for a photo opportunity, a phat one! :smoke:

Xmas day had a lovely siglo VI - I do love that smoke when time on my hands.
On new years eve a splendid monte edmundo - i love 52 size nurse.
And for this evening a saved Trinidad extra robusto - never had a bad one, so high hope, oh and this morning to bring in the new year had a monte No2 - never go wrong with that one.
I love my cigars. happy new year to you all

I have never smoked a Montecristo No2, Davo, but may well be looking into it! :cowboyic9:

Often told it's the most smoked cuban in the world, though seem to have been told that about a few cigars, most monte's mind.
I see lots seem to like the RASS, I think a good smoke but not as good as the D4, Hoyo ep 2, or la creme de la creme, the cohoba robusto - in my ever so umble opinion sir.
what punch, r&j or bolivar do you rate?

Hi Davo

We seem to like the same favourites. I love the RASS (very new to it), I am IN LOVE WITH the D4 (just bought 25 over Xmas), I cream over an occasional HdeM EpNo2 (love it but it's milder to me than the others here). Finally I go NUTS over the Cohiba Robusto, but can rarely buy a box of 25 because they cost an arm and a leg! They really are beautiful cigars, along with the Siglo V1 and its pervy SKA-like tubing for the jaundiced.

I have just bought a box of 25 PUNCH PUNCH. They have gone straight into my Top 3 cigars. RyJ I don't really know. I ADORE Bolivars because they just about knock me out when I've had some time off the fab weed. An Edmundo is a porky bastard smoke, too.

I have a guitarist mate coming round soon who has never had a Partagas D4 before. I'm going to warp his mind this afternoon through the D4 route to joy!
