Semi-recently I remember talking to somebody who said they knew about the best cigar place in Moscow. I cannot remember any of the details though. This conversation may well have been with a fellow forum member but my memory has let me down yet again.

The reason this is semi-urgent is that a good friend of mine is heading out to Moscow for business on Thursday and is stuck there over-night. It would be great for him to go and have a smoke at this place I was told about as he is a cigar nut like many of us.

Can anybody enlighten me please as to who I was talking with or the best places to smoke in Moscow?

You can smoke cigars almost everywhere in Moscow.

Good places in the current warm weather include the roof top bars at the Ritz and the Hyatt. It is a very expensive place to buy them however.

Now Moscow is one place id love to visit, if for no other reason but to look at the sights and be able to say ive been. Dont they have the no smoking rules there like we do here then? :eek:

The Grand Havana Room is a highly exclusive cigar club within the Moscow district, however I believe it is a club where your either invited to join or you know a member that would vouch for you.

Alternatively there is the Night Flight (conveniently located on the main street, Tverskaya 17, in the very heart of Moscow almost halfway between Pushkinskaya square and the Kremlin) which has a supposedly nice Cigar Room.

T, Robert, who was on the Cigar Walk and who you liked so much, is from Latvia via Moscow and being a huge cigar man I am sure he will be able to tell you where to go.
