Since that review by Daize (http://www.ukcigarforums.com/showthread.php?t=5319 ) on the Magnum 48 I had to find out what all the fuss was about, but in the end opted to buy a sampler pack of the 46s and 50s instead. However good things do come to those who wait as I happened to be in luck a week later with Burner's 4x48s offer which I gladly snapped-up. :smoke:

And then there was this rumour that Cigar Aficionado magazine had awarded the Padron Family Reserve Maduro No 45 cigar of the year for 2009. I had to find out why, but these were only available in boxes of 10 priced at £340! But again, serendipity emerged with monkey66's offer of selling one of his prized sticks to me. :hail:

So here they all are, in a humidor that is starting to look smaller as the weeks go by. For that reason I think it is time to smoke the Alonso Menendez No 40 :biggrin1:

Nice collection--I'm sitting on a couple of nice looking Padrons I've yet to try. They're very inviting. :smoke:

Matey, I notice you're into horology? Can you fix watches?

Thank you. If I really like it I might just purchase the box!

I'm afraid not. I'm just an admirer of the art and mechanics of time. Though it would save me ££££ every 3-5 years when I get my watches serviced. :smoke:

Nice selection...

Sitting on a couple of the Padron 45's myself...

Gonna give them some good 'rest' time in the humi before firing them up...

Enjoy your smokes... :41:

Cheers, HabanoSy
