I've just noticed that H&F have shipped the 2010 LE stock to retailers, so UK stockists should now (or in the next couple of days) be getting them in.

I've ordered one of each and will be reviewing them in my own personal style (i.e. about 10 words) over the next week.

Anyone gonna join me?

I've smoked the Trinidad - very spicy from the start, beautiful draw, very dark wrapper and in boxes of twelve I would say a fantastic cigar for ageing or smoking now. I'll be off to get a few more early next week.

And smoked the Monte after a great lunch and an excellent bottle of Claret today. It's a really smooth smoke and in my opinion ready to go right away.

Bought myself the Partagas LE at the Cain event, can't wait to give it a go. I think that it will be one for the Gossport mini herf!

Bought a box of the Partagas after several positive comments about them on this forum. My thoughts....(cut and pasted from another thread)

The pre-light aroma was so pungent, like a D4 on steroids!! Smoking the first half of the cigar was an absolute delight with bundles of flavour and copious amounts of rich, thick smoke. The second half was much stronger than the first and got very, very spicy towards the end. All in all a top smoke but I can't wait to see what they're like once they settle down a bit. GET SOME!! :rock:

Macker I was talking to Shaun Crowley of Hunters and Frankau last night and he was raving about the Partagas - Serie D Especial EL.

He said he loved the old style Partagas punchy Partagas 'of his youth', although he looks young enough to me, and rated this as a real return to form and one which would be a classic with a little more age.

I hope to get to smoke one this week end and it's the only one of the 2010 EL's I haven't smoked yet.

Looking forward to getting the full set up!

Going to let them rest for a little while before I fire one up though...

I've tried a couple and they're really good. What I would say though is that the first one I had was REALLY good and the second one was just good. Might be some inconsistency but then they're still young...
