Thought I'd follow up my RyJ Short Churchill from earlier with a '98 RyJ Prince of Wales, and I have to say, it's rather nice... :41:

had a Party Shorts from a freshly opened 2008 50 Cab from the shop, bought 5, too moist, hard to draw, need to store them for a week before smoking another one.

Quai D Orsay imperial I believe is its name..........churchill sized. Really good cigar. First experience with it and have to say its a top notch smoke. Don't believe I've ever seen them mentioned on here before. Cohiba construction with a trinidad/monte flavour! Very nice......

At an army ball last night, didn't finish all that long ago... Now on a train and travelling from Exeter to the Lakes. Long day. :(

Anyway, at the ball I had a Cohiba Exquisito, which was a little bit of a let down given the others I've tried (burn issus) - still nubbed it. Followed by a phenomenal '01 Punch DC, courtesy of Luxsuk in Cardiff last year.

After an excellent Party D5 08 on friday night, I just couldn't help myself and had one of my Party EL 10's that I promised myself I'd let rest for a bit as the first one last week had been so damned good. I wish I could say that it was as good as the first one but it was plugged!! The bottom half was rolled too tight and although I did manage to improve it a bit with a few pokes of a wooden skewer (I have a 'draw poker' but I find that it leaves a metallic taste on your cigar), it was nothing like the joy that it should have been :frown:

Just thought I'd post this pic which has recently emerged from last night. Here I am with the Punch DC not too long after lighting:

A Chinchalero Fuerte, my first. A good full bodied cigar with spice and dark choc overtones. A good smoke for only £3.60. One I would buy again :smoke:
