Just wondering if anyone has tried this, I have a bottle in the cupboard but am not planning on opening it for a while, and just wanted to know if any members have tried it and if so what they thought?

hey gary, i got a bottle of this at the distillery on st patricks day (£25!!!), been waiting for an opportunity to crack it open (shoulda done it on my 30th birthday)..........

saying that, i've been working away at the bushmills 10 & 16yr old single malts, which having been serving to keep away temptation:smile:, both fantastic whiskies (and cheaper)!!!!

anyway, if i do bit the bullet and go for it, i'll let you know!!! and please, do the same likewise!!!

cheers mate,

Just read the reviews Alex and does indeed seem like it's going down well, think I'll probably keep mine for a number of years, and try and build up a small collection of quality whiskey's such as aged McCallen's and the like?

Can't believe you got it for £25 tho, that's half of what I paid for it .

Yeah, £25 sounds a real steal. I'm ashamed to say I've never tried any bushmills beyond trhe wonderful blackbush, which I really like. I always have a few scottish single malts in the house, so I reallly must try one of the bushmills ones sometime soon - do they tend to be a little bit more malty/sweeter than scottish single malts on the whole?

alex
