There's the one in the arcade round the back of House Of Fraser. I think it's called Hollingsworth? Reasonable selection...
[EDIT] The review here (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/place?hl=en&safe=off&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=hollingsworth+birmingham&fb=1&gl=uk&hq=hollingsworth&hnear=Birmingham,+West+Midlands&cid=9097068536682928682&ei=JLk8TKrQBouOjAfwpeWnAQ&sa=X&oi=local_result&ct=result&resnum=1&ved=0CBYQnQIwAA) seems to echo my experience of customer service. I went in and peered through the window of the walk-in for nearly ten minutes. I was the only person in there and I had to verbally express my interest in entering before I got any kind of attention. That said, reasonable selection that seemed well looked after.

There's a Hollingsworths in Solihull too. They don't know much about pipe tobacco (tried to tell me that aged tobacco wasn't as good as fresh tobacco - LOL!) but they have a decent array of cigars, well kept. There's a Tobacco World in Regents Arcade, Cheltenham and a newsagent not too far from it that has a decent, if small, walk-in humidor. Dunno if that's a possibility for you?

I've used Hollingsworth's in Brum a few times. They're not to bad actually. Decent selection of cigars last time I was there. Nice selection of pipes and tobacco as well.
