Had an email from TopCubans with what looks like good discounts on Robustos of many makes.

I haven't done any sums, but it does look interesting. Thought I'd pass it on.

Bryan, have you ordered much from Topcubans, I haven't but have ordered before from CigarOne, another online retailer from Switzerland, anyway, have any of your orders ever got busted by customs, the only time I ordered from CigarOne it got caught, not surprising seeing they plastered CIGARS on the packaging, but it's kind of put me off ordering again although both company's prices are great, just wondering if any of your orders have managed to slip through the net?

Recently - for the last six months - I've ordered from Monte through here.

I have ordered cigars from DomGabriel in Spain/Gibraltar and that was perfectly OK. I remember on here a while back we discussed DG and the jury was out with a mix of positive and negative.

I am attracted to the graphics of Top Cubans. I am a sucker for slick Photoshop, I think lol. That firm also writes pretty intelligent emails, so I always look at their offers.

I think their current Robusto one looks interesting.

I wish I could find a cheap ha ha ha supplier of either Cohiba Robustos or Siglo VI. I don't think there is such a thing, alas.

I'm not the biggest purchaser of cigars in bulk. My orders of 25 this or that have never been pulled in by the customs bastards.

I should point out that when I was looking for a small selection of Robustos to road test before buying a larger order before Christmas, it was Monte who sorted me out with the best deal. Stick for stick, Monte was certainly the best value.

Anyone who has signed up recently can see the fine recommendations for the quality of his supplied cigars, and the great service he gives, in one of the other threads on the site. The three or four purchases of different quantities of cigars I've bought from Monte have been problem-free every time.

Sorry if this seems like a public service broadcast! It's just that I find it great to think I have a trusty "supplier". :cowboyic9:

Yes.

I wanted to try four different cigars that people had raved about on here, and M sold me four single sticks. It's useful to try things out that way, and I'm sure Monte could help you out with a small order.

If you've got any stock and you want to swap a couple of sticks for a couple of Partagas D4, drop me a private message and we'll sort something out, Alex.

i odered from switzerland also, and they also put contents Ciigars which amazed me as its rather giving it away, also with the pound being so weak what you save it is hardly worth it, i think it worked out at two pound a cigar.

Well I saved quite a bit compared to the prices in the UK, the last time I order from Switzerland and that was even after getting busted by customs and charged, but I have to agree with Bryan above in that you (and by that i mean everyone especially the handful of newbie's that have joined recently) don't need to look any further than Monte for great cigars at great prices with a great service.
