Hello to all,

Nice place, hope no-one objects, but I'll just sit myself in this old green leather chair by the French windows whilst I tell you about myself,if it is someone else's favourite chair my apologies and I'll surely move :).

I was actually doing a Google search for 65% humidity beads when I discovered this Forum.

I am now retired and my wife and I live in Hampshire.

After having given up cigarettes quite awhile ago (after smoking them most of my life I realised that I didn't really like them anyway, horrible smelly things!!)one evening I fancied a cigar, popped out and bought some, and so started my passion for cigars and interest in everything that is associated with them, different types, history, etiquette and all the necessary accoutrements.

My wife also enjoys an occasional cigar.

I tend to buy a selection of singles mostly, although have bought the odd box,as I am not financially able to indulge as I might wish.

Anyway,I'm off to get in touch with Deano for some of his beads.I would like to add,it's good to see that someone has at last started a forum like this in the UK.

welcome bud, read your welcome note and had to smile,im glad we have someones misses on here who enjoyes a cigar or two as as well.well done her....ive have never smoked a cigarette ever but i can remember the very first time i had a cigar was when i were on holiday with family in spain,i was about 18 yrs old.never forget it as i were on the beach in benidorm watching a guy fishing and he had a bloody great cigar hanging out of his mouth and it smelt so damm good.So went over to this guy and started chatting and asked him what type of cigar he was gladly puffin away on and he said it was a romeo & julietta churchill,so after about an hour or so of smellin this lovely cigar i could not wait anymore and went straight to the nearest tobacco shop and had me some.I sat down on the beach and lighted one up and watched the world go by and ever since then ive been hooked.:D
