These are smoking great right now. Last one of a box for me but if you have any: their time is now. It's been a long time since I've got so much from such an unimpressive vitola.

Nothing so far for me today...
Got a Cohiba Siglo V lined up for after my dinner though...
Think I'll open a nice bottle of red wine to go with it... :41:

Cohiba Siglo IV this afternoon after a barbq. Had a bit of a green and bitter start to it but opened up nicely into a cracking smoke.

Justing getting over this soddin migraine so don't expect much in the way of tasting notes but had a RA Petit Unicos Canadian RE, Started off with a tad spice tingle on the tip of your tongue, tasting of coffee and liqourice, settled down to coffee and ended with leather and slight spice. Will try to do better when me senses are back to normal.

Mmmm, Montecristo No.4. Very nice. During the smoke it seems quite medium-full but afterwards it is obviously a lighter smoke than I'm used to.
It might be a smaller cigar but whilst on sitting in the garden on the phone to my parents I made it last a good hour and 20 minutes. I had to re-light twice but only just. If I'd caught it a minute earlier I would have been fine.
Anyway. In conclusion I think I've found a new size of stogie that I like.

Went for a lovely long walk with Mrs and mini M. Smoked a great 06 Siglo IV. When these are good they are great (and this one was great). Perfect draw, big Cohiba profile, full body , smooth, bit of spice (especially when I relit it) chewey and grassy ...bloody great!

What a superb evening! Reasonably warm out on the patio, wispy clouds over head, and a slight pinkish tinge as the sun went down. Plus, I had a surprisingly good cigar - a Kristoff Maduro Robusto (cheers, G-man). At first I thought it might be all show, with it's little shaggy foot and stylish double band, but no. All the more impressive was how good it tasted even when a patch of wrapper just sort of fell off - it didn't burst or anything, it just fell off... :hmmmm:
Very nice, review to follow. :849:

A CAO MX2. I was hesitant given that the gold label I had previously was a bit like sucking musty air, and this one didn't start out so well in terms of draw, but by the second third it kicked into a nice flavorful stick. CAO has redeemed itself on this day.
