I don't really know much about classical music, but there's a couple I have on my computer I listen to. The first is Saint-Saens 'Danse macabre' and the other is Faure 'Pavane'. Not sure why I like them, and they seem a little surprising in with the rest...

Without being pompous I'm assuming when we say classical we mean anything orchestral as opposed to pop/rock/jazz and not necessarily the specific time period of classical music...if so... in no particular order...7 composer and three painters
