I was going to post this little tale on the recently (re)opened Behike thread. But I thought it deserved it's own.

It's a salutary tale about what happens when you decide to go home early!

So Cohiba IV and I had exchanged text messages about a mid afternoon meet for a quiet smoke in town. We were both in meetings in the morning. I emerged from an extremely good lunch marinated in a great bottle of claret, and made my way down Jermyn street (as you do).

As I went I checked my text messages to discover that the young Mr IV had finished early and decided to head off home to the warm bosom of his family.

So thinking I was billy no mates I headed off on in search of a post luncheon coffee. As I passed Francos opposite Davidoff I met Edward just heading to his normal table and was persuaded to join him as a couple of 'friends' were just heading over from the store.

And there we sat with a bottle of Champagne (much better than coffee) and cigars all round. Edward with a small Cohiba, me with a Trinidad Reyes and Edward's guests with Behikes.

So Dale, wish you had stayed?

I know, scary, me in a tie and a suit!!!

Just in case you missed it, this was what James Suckling posted on Twitter about his cigar: Behike 52: amazed by balance and richness with milk chocolate and cappuccino with freshness and floral character. A dream, like today. 94
