Finally settled for a Boliver Gold Medal. A wonderful puro, but often plugged, requiring a fix with a "draw poker.":smoke:

:cowboyic9: Lo siento, amigo...

"plugged' refers to a cigar that has a hard draw, usually due to hard spots or a cigar that was rolled too tightly. Thinner puros ofter fall victim to this issue more ofter then fatter ones. :(

A "Draw Porker" is a devise used to unplug a plugged cigar. It's a long needle type divise that is run through the entire length of the stoogie to clear the plugged portion. :laser:

Works pretty well. I got one free with a box of cigars from Thompson's several years ago. You can buy them from some of the cigar internet sites in the US :usa2:

Today, my brothers, was ALMOST a day of THREE Havanas in London!

PETIT EDMUNDO from Soutter's
PARTAGAS SERIE D NUMERO 5 gifted by the proprietor of Davidoff in St James
COHIBA ROBUSTO purchased in Davidoff, but pocketed because of the spitting rain, alas. Still, it's in my humidor waiting for a great day!

I will post a picture or two later. I spent the day in the fine stogie dude company of my bud Nic Wing.

I cannot get the beautiful aroma of great cigars being smoked in three prime cigar outlets out of my senses. Yes - You can still light up and smoke in those shops! JJ Fox smacks me into brilliant life every time I go there.

I want to decorate this with swearing but I'm being a good boy.

I'm buzzed up with how brilliantly aromatic the day was. :cowboyic9:

I have great memories of my one and only visit to JJ Fox which I've written about on other threads here. Perhaps we should plan a gathering there some day. It would be fun to meet some of the locals and not so locals. :shakehands:

I found this site through google :proud:

http://www.premiumhumidors.com/shop/cigar-accessories/cutters/the-one-and-only-draw-poker-5.html

They will ship to England for about 10 US dollars (the shipping would be the same for multiple orders of the same item). Just leave the state as "Alabama" and squeeze in the actually address. Also, select UPS ground as your shipping method, it will be shipped priority express. :plane:

They told me they ship internationally all the time.

Cheers, Mates!:bandit:

Oh forgot - I went into a sewing shop a few years ago and got a long, thin knitting needle and this works wonders whenever i get a blocked smoke.
