OK folks,

I am going to see Hamlet, Monday 25th October at Turmeaus - Chester...

Anyone want to join me for a HERF..

Can't let the southern sherry drinkers have all the fun...

I may be there, bearing in mind I'm only 18 it could look a little weird so I'm not 100% sure.

As to a herf I won't have the time I should imagine.

I say old chap, there is no way I am heading north of the 'mushy pea line'.
There be dragons!

Damn cheek of the fellow!

There's not one of those 'namby pamby' Southern Jessies that could take a toasted crumpet without blubbing!

I'm in! (assuming I'm allowed to bring me ferret and 'whip and top'?).

This could be tempting, not far from me but depends on work :(

So, what's the plan?

How are we going to recognise one another?

Should we each wear a red carnation and carry a copy of the 'Racing Times', or do I need to practice my 'funny' handshake?

why not all do something simple like wear a watch on the right arm with long sleeve shirt rolled up to the elbow? makes it easy to show without looking too mental.

Fun? Fun?

Let me tell you, I've been to a fair few of these Southern (Well, London-ish) cigar establishments and not once. . . . not once, has anyone produced so much as a pickled egg!!!
Not even a pork scratching FFS!

Bloody quails eggs - it's no wonder so many of those jessies are. . . 'confused'!
By eck!

Popped in here yesterday for a couple of sticks (See the 'Where to Buy' section for more info) and thought I'd 'Bump' the thread to see if we could drum up a few more forum members for the roller demo on the 25th (Monday).

Lee, Boss, etc?

Plenty of places to eat and drink by the looks of things.
Anyone else up for it?

Well I should be in Chester on the 23rd for another important home game for the Blue Boys at the Exacta Stadium and some proper culture rather than a la-di-da play a couple of days later

I will be driving up to Chester with a couple of pipe smoking buddies (who occasionally enjoy a cigar), my wife and her friend. You see its our wedding anniversary Monday so I only get to play out if my wife thinks its a great idea to go for a day out to lovely Chester! I will be in the shop about 2pm for about an hour.

Sad I know!
