The brand founded in 1837, is known by being the first one to pack the cigars in boxes decorated with labels as we know it today. The Habanos (http://www.habanos.com/article.aspx?aid=11&lang=en) manufactured under this brand has a well gained recognition among all smokers and they are made in the emblematic Partagás Cigar Factory.

All the cigars under the Ramón Allones (http://www.habanos.com/article.aspx?aid=64&lang=en) brand are filled with a blend of tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo region in Pinar del Río, characterised by their intense and complex taste. Among the range of sizes under the Ramón Allones brand, the Gigantes, the Specially Selected and the Small Club Coronas clearly stands out in the brand portfolio (http://www.habanos.com/vitolario.aspx?lang=en).

This new size, Allones Superiores, (girth 46 and 143 mm long) whose factory name is a Corona Gorda is made up of only 5 000 boxes comprising 10 units each, and will surely delight the most demanding palates.

Of great complexity and strong flavour as it is characteristic in the brand, the Allones Superiores from Ramón Allones will be available in the coming weeks in the La Casa del Habano (http://www.lacasadelhabano.cu/site/index.php?lang=english) outlets worldwide.

The Italian list price (http://www.diademaspa.it/images/moduli_scaricabili/listino_07_2010/index.html) is E80 for 10!!! That's pretty bloody cheap for a limited run

5000 is not THAT limited, a lot of the regional editions have far fewer boxes made. Also RA is not a flagship brand.

Blimey that's less than a ten box of Monte 2's. Will have to look out for these!

Don't think they will have much bother getting 5000 sold at that price!

They wont be expensive but the question is will they be any good?

Looking at the recent various RA Regionals there is a real mixed bag from boring to mind-blowing ...it all depends at which end of that scale they do the blend for these sticks.

Exact. They are rolling way too many RA regionals (14 since 2005) to maintain quality.
To a lesser extent the same can be said of the Por Larrañaga regionals.
