83 boxes? I won't believe it, unless you send me 1 from each box or at least a few.

Yep 83 boxes, 7 baccy jars, 11 pipes, 2 pipe stands, reamers, lighters, matches, cutters & other various bits, all in a lovely dark oak carved dresser...for a very very modest exchange of coin.....:smile::smile:

Well in that case omfg!

If it were me I would get in touch with Ajay at LaCasa for a serious valuation of those sticks, could be some gems in there.

Please post up some pics.l. What condition are the smokes in, have they been aged carefully?

Puf Scotty,

Without seeing the boxes it's impossible to accurately say how old they are. Although it certainly sounds like you have an interesting day ahead of you once you get to look over the full range of boxes your brother has.
Here are two links that may help you begin the identification process. Good luck.

Look Puffs .... these boxes .... they're obviously going to be old, probably dusty, scruffy and maybe just a bit smelly. And, you don't want to be taking chances on what might be inside either. Could be anything, old socks, used plasters even geriatric tobacco beetles. Best you send them to me mate, you've got my address, I'll make sure everything properly disposed of and incinerated .... and anything which wont burn taken to the Sue Ryder shop.

That's O.K. Tipp, thank you for your fine offer but I couldn't possibly accept such generosity & burden you with that responsibility... I'll struggle on best I can!:p
Obviously anything that fits your description I'll get off to you as soon as possible...
