Hi there,
A few good deals on whisky caught my eye as I was trawling around the supermarkets the the other night:
Singleton £20.00 (Tesco- this offer has been on a while, so may finish soon)
Glenkinchie £21 odd (Tesco - £8.00 saving)
Talisker £21.74 (Asda)
Best wishes,
Nick (Sludgie)

Good spots, like the look of that Talisker offer. Finally got around to trying it over the Christmas period and quite liked it.
Best deal I've found so far (and I know it's not really a deal) is Lagavulin 16yo for £32 on P&O's Dover to Calais service. Should have bought a second bottle really... :(

That`s a great price for the Talisker. A great dram which can be enjoyed with most cigars. Good find.

Great price on the Talisker & Glenkincie...
Keep your eyes open for the others in the Classic Malts, they're running a promotion at present..:
Lagavulin Islay
Cragganmore Speyside
Dalwhinnie Highland
Oban West Highland
These should be a good price if you can find 'em!

Saw another good deal in Tesco that I thought was worth a mention:
Dalwhinnie 15 year old for £21.98
I agree about the Lagavulin! Shame it never seems to be discounted anywhere.
Best Wishes,

I agree about the Lagavulin! Shame it never seems to be discounted anywhere. They clearly know we all love it so much we'll pay almost anything they ask for it... :der: Except how much they were charging in Cavendish House (Cheltenham's House of Fraser)... about £48 if I recall correctly...
It's so worth it though. Must remember to stock up on my next continental adventure...

Dalwhinnie is another under-rated cracker in my book :)
In my circles anyway, doesnt say much does it

Am I missing something with the Dalwhinnie 15? I have to admit that it's never really done it for me. Always found it a touch insipid... Ideal for before a meal I suppose.
Please, someone, educate me as to what I'm missing so that I can appreciate it next time I give it a try.

Its rather fruity Simon, you were saying its rather ''insipid'' (actually had to google that, young un's these days eh :P) but i tasted loads of flavours in about it. Subtle ones though.
Im amazed I managed to explain that much given the fact my taste buds are so lifeless
Thats as much help as i can give you Si :D

I bought a bottle over Christmas at full price and can thoroughly recommend it.
