A Petit Edmundo just finished, pleasant and increasing in spicyness after the first third. This and Wednesday's were a little different to my first a few weeks back, which was a Tubo. I reckon not quite as rich, if that makes sense. However, it's got me wanting more:41:

A good smoke and recommended.

Alec Bradley Maxx. A great looking stick, albeit a big mo' fo', construction-wise. I guess a maduro wrap. Heavy in the hand and feels authoritative. Almost phallic, but obviously a fraction of the length and girth:rolleyes:.

This would be top value Robusto, if you were hamming it up.

Smoke-wise, it looks heavier than it is, but nonetheless, enjoyable. I'm a third way down and have found nothing offensive.

Monte's your man on this one:biggrin1:

On the last full day of my glourious stay in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico:

My first smoke of the day was a Bolivar Bonita with a nice cup of Cabo Joe :happycoffee:
My second puro of the day was the fabulous Cohiba Siglo VI. :41: It was the last Siglo VI I brought with me. Havanas are way too expensive down here.:eviltongue:

I will end my stay with a wonderful non-cuban stogie - the unsurpassed God of Fire 2005

TJ, no dramas there either. It was a gentle giant of a stick: mellow cocoa with a hint of warmth/spice introducing itself. The gauge took some negotiating mind. Didn't compete with the Petit in flavour though. Smoked it down to about 2" as a slight bitterness crept in.

BTW, it was THE FREAK, by AB. I've also got the same stick nestling in the humi, but of the pyramid variety. So pharoah, so good. They'll be as cheap as chips over your way TJ, I imagine.

Edit: The other stick is a torpedo, not a pyramid. That sinks my earlier comments about the pharoahs. Sorry about the misrepresentation TJ/chaps.

Not had a CR for ages. The last few I've had have been unremarkable. Might have been a bad box. I've one inn the humi which I'll need to fire up soon I think
