The dinner venue has now been agreed and is being hosted by The Rock Hotel in a marquee with seating for 150 smokers and guests. Ticket price for the dinner is anticipated to be between £50 and £60 and this will include dinner, cigars and drinks. Date for the dinner is Friday 28th October

The Rock Hotel is owned by Cadogan holiday group and they have agreed to provide the best prices possible for the event including flights and hotel. They have a guy dealing with all bookings and queries at their UK office called STEVE BOWLEY, and he can be reached on 0843 2081244 and you should tell him you are with the "Stagnetto group" to get the best possible price.

I have made bookings for 6 people today and am referring another 4 tomorrow so I would suggest that you chaps get in as soon as possible to ensure you get rooms booked at The Rock. If you could then PM me when you have booked and I will pass details onto Loren at Stagnetto and ask her to reserve a ticket at the dinner for you.

When we have the menu and the final list of cigars I will post them on the forum once again but we anticipate the cigars to inlcude Cohiba and another fine Havana and hoping to arrange for a Jamaican puro from the early 1950's as well so a chance to indulge in some 60 year old smokes in the price as well :41:

If I can offer any more advice or help chaps then just PM me or post on here and I will try and sort any queries out for you as soon as possible.

Will definitely be going mate. I'll probably book the dinner now and book the travel later on.

If anybody wants to do the same as Deano you can book the dinner by contacting Loren at Staggies direct to reserve a ticket as they may well be in short supply. Booking later may well get you a cheaper option when Eastjet release their prices from Gatwick but you may not be able to get in at The Rock so it's swings and roundabouts. The Cornwall group and family have already booked 10 tickets and I know Mitch is looking at getting his group booked in the next few weeks as well. You are also likely to have a number of Spanish cigar smokers attending as they are not allowed to smoke in restaurants in Spain any more.

Some of the guys have booked to attend from the Thursday and the Friday until Sunday. Hoping to get menu for the dinner and cigar list next week and trying to arrange something different for the Saturday, maybe fishing or shooting?

All booked up and the menu is provisionally set as well. I am trying to attach the menu as an image and tickets will need to be booked as soon as possible as they have interest from the Epicure club of smokers from Spain. Our own group has 14 of us booked already at The Rock and can't wait now :smoke:

Should also say I hope to add the usual 1950's Jamaicans as well for an early pre dinner smoke

Ticket price is expected to be around £60 to include meal, drinks and cigars so great value I reckon

I would like to reserve two tickets for this... :41:

Is there an overall (all inclusive) price that this is going to cost, i.e flight, hotel, dinner, etc...

If so, who to contact to make payment...!?! :dontknow:

It's not that im lazy (well maybe just a little ) but i just can't be arsed searching for best flight ticket, hotel reservation, etc...!!! :boring:

You can make your bookings for the flight and hotel as follows; The Rock Hotel is owned by Cadogan holiday group and they have agreed to provide the best prices possible for the event including flights and hotel. They have a guy dealing with all bookings and queries at their UK office called STEVE BOWLEY, and he can be reached on 0843 2081244 and you should tell him you are with the "Stagnetto group" to get the best possible price. You can also book by logging onto www.mygibraltar.co..uk (http://www.mygibraltar.co..uk) and check what flight and hotel deals they have. We got double and twin rooms for around £300 each flying from Heathrow with BA on the 27th and returning on the 30th...more time for herfing etc :smoke:

If people would like to reserve tickets then I can do that for you as well and we can sort out a pre payment method.

If anybody wants advice or help with bookings etc then PM me and I will see if I can sort it all out for you
