Do we think this woman might be a work of fiction?

Perhaps she's Venusian.

It's not April 1st yet is it

What a loony :der:

If she believes that, why does she have a job, couldn't catch a man eh, and I'm not surprised with those views.

Just as surprising is what newspaper would print such nonsense, or even employ her!

What I love about that (and I admit I'm no literary genius) is the fact that, content aside, that is a really bloody awful piece of writing... her mastery of the english language is pretty poor... and thats her job? Bless her!

She's the sort of girl I'd like to be pitched against in a debating society tournament. You could run rings around her.

I am going to find time to print this off and test one or two of my classes' reactions. I can tell you that it will be accepted as it stands by some. I could bet ?50 on that safely.

I have played this clip below two or three times over the years to ripe groups to see whether they would twig. I have had whole classes sit through it as if at a science experiment.

That gives me deep, deep satisfaction.

I kinda feel sorry for that girl. From her photos she looks like a lower middle class kid that doesn't really know what life is all about. Her parents really did a poor job preparing her for the future. The article looks like it was taken out of a High School news paper. I think the article was wishful thinking on her part, maybe some guy will come along and save her from her Lower Middle class life. Life has a hell of a way of kicking you in the ass and that kick usually arrives about the time you have to start supporting yourself. Watch out Lynzee, I see a big boot coming your way.
