Hi Guys,

I've tried in vain not to go straight to a forum and start a noob thread like this. I've been watching the videos and reading the reviews, but 99% of the cigars I've liked the sound of I can't source in the UK!

I was a cigarette smoker for a few years, so strong peppery flavours really don't appeal to me as they remind me too much of those wastes of time.

I'm really after mild sticks that offer oily, creamy, chocolate and coffe flavours, the sweeter the better. Ring gauge is not an issue, but nothing over 6 inches, with my preferred length being 4-5 inches. Nothing over £12 a stick and I'd prefer something under £10.

I've tried a few that I could source and the one I liked the most was the Nub Cameroon 464, the first I really found some creamy flavours from, but by all accounts this is no where near what I could be finding!

Any recommendations (links event better) of stick from a UK store would be greatly appreciated.

alrighty,
as dave says, welcome to the forum!!! introduce yourself in the newbie section and i'm sure you'll get plenty of help!!!

as a quick suggestion, check out the h upmann corona junior!!! the typical upmann flavours are pretty much what you're looking for by the sounds of it!!! approx a 30 odd minute smoke!!! easy had from asda, waitrose etc for around £6 a stick!!!

oh, asda and waitrose do punch coronations 'petite coronas' for about a quid more!!!

if you're looking cuban cigars, which is what most folk on here smoke, you'll be hard pressed to find anything bigger than a 'perla' (half corona) or 'mareva' (petite corona) for under a tenner!!!

Cigars I can find in Asda?! Now that's what I call availability! I'll be going to pick up a few of those later on. Thanks for the tip!

Didn't see the newbie forum! Perhaps a mod can move this there?
