Holiday Albufiera

The family and I have rented a Villa in Albufiera and I am looking for ideas for shops selling decent cigars and any Cigar lounges and bars.

Hi,

been visiting the Algave and staying close to Albufeira for the last 15 years and I love the area.

Sadly, cigarwise it is nothing to write home about.

A fine open air bar overlooking the Praia de Falesia beach is located on the grounds of the Sheraton Algave Hotel, near the beach elevator, go there for a sundowner and a cigar, it's fantastic.

For buying cigars, Spain is the best bet, either Ayamonte, just 45 minutes away from A'feira or for better selection Sevilla.

In Ayamonte you'll find several Estancos, one of them centrally located near the central square/Marina, they have a good selection but don't expect any big help selecting cigars, they just sell, better bring a list.

Smoking in Portugal should not be a problem as most restaurants have covered open air tables.

Thanks for the info Nino. Probably not be travelling to Spain, but its good to know where I can smoke. I will need to get travel humidor prepared.
