Having just spent 3 weeks on the windy Island, for the benefit of fellow BOTL thinking of a trip to the Islas Canarias, here is the low down, almost every shop sells tobacco products, Cigars most on offer are the Flor de Canarias brand, but fear not many have Humidors with modest selections mostly RyJ, Montycristo and Cohiba, but be aware to look for box codes and intact labels as i was offered a box of Cohiba with no box code and the label inside, ahem, I sampled at length the RyJ's and have to say they tasted the same as those purchased here, I ended up bringing back some of the locals rather than chance a dodgy box.
As an aside i found that smoking larger vitola's at night al fresco was not a good idea as the RH turns them to sponge that will not burn past 2/3rd distance, i took several and ended up with some very large unsmokeable nubs, hope this helps.
