Got all these objects off the net for only $109 (69.99quid).

These are all the small parts:
-Got 4 foam pucks. They seem to hold around half as much as the pucks i have in my other 3 humidors. But they're also around a fourth of the price.
-Got 2 hygrometers. Should've dished out an extra dollar to get the ones that are MUCH better looking. These ones are not attractive... I'll throw them in some wet salt and then compare them to my hygrometer/barometer/thermometer i use to detect hurricanes (yes i know i'm in Toronto)
-3 torch lighter. Needs thumb power. When i say needs, i MEAN needs. Only gonna use it for a backup one if I'm out of splints AND out of fuel.
-Cigar Caddy Travel Humidor. Alas, a name brand!
All reviews say it's airtight. It's also marketed as something that can withstand 100m underwater.
Who has a U-Boat to test that out for me?? There was also a shite cutter. Don't think it'll be very good.
IMG-20130508-00516.jpg

Main item here: 25-50 Cigar Humidor. Standard thing. Passes the whosh test. Just a regular humidor.
It says SURE SEAL/ LID TECH. Hit me over the head with a rusty rake if i know what that means.
Here's the torch lighter to compare:
IMG-20130508-00517.jpg

And the two things that made up 50 dollars of the 110 dollar purchase:
-Cigar and Flask combo. Holds 5cl of a liquor as well as two churchill sized cigars. Aluminium case.
-Vertigo Spider Dual Torch lighter. I like this one. Nice punch cutter which is positioned so you can adjust the flame without a pesty screw driver.
IMG-20130508-00518.jpg

Instead of the spider, I wanted the guillotine Dual lighter. It was 45 dollars and I really couldn't justify that yet when I'm out of work for the Spring till June. Sides, it's just a novelty anyways. A trusty Punch Cutter on my lighter is all i need for now :)

Well chaps - I wasn't sure where to place this, but i thought it worth sharing nethertheless!

But first let me rewind to last Friday, my best bud gives me a call, it's been far too long since we have shared a beer / dram, and we agree on a night of debauchery tonight (03/05/13).
It's been a long week, I've been in the office every day for the last 12 days, and I awake to my beloved thrusting a card in my face.

That is never a good thing.

Not only do I have a card - but 3 packages. One from our friends at Cgars. One, from one of my other favorite online outlets (TWE) and a book.
Emotions at this stage are mixed between elation and dread. Something is definitely wrong - random acts of generosity do not happen in my household!! - Have I dropped the ball?

20130503_073835.jpg

A quick read of the card confirms my worries. I have dropped the ball on a monumental scale. Not only have I forgotten our anniversary - but I've planned a nights drinking with my friend, on our anniversary to boot!
On the bright side, I am very happy that my beloved had the good taste to not only replace the Siglo I she stole from me the other day, but complete my humidor with a Esplendido ;-)

Following my introduction in the newbies forum, I thought this would be a nice place to share what is in my humidor, and the recent changes that have been made. I initially had a small second hand humi that I picked up from ebay to hold my first ever actual collection of cigars (the picture is from Christmas Day).

This contained:

Montecristo No. 2
Cohiba Robusto
Cohiba Secretos Maduro
Punch Coronation
Por Larranaga Petit Corona
Alec Bradley Prensado Churchill
Macanudo 1968 Maduro
Quorum Churchill
Inka Secret Blend Robusto

Last week I picked up a bargain... a Adorini Torino Deluxe humi, with 16 Cubans (and one NC) and a Credo punch cutter for £140 from a friend of a friend quitting.

My humidor now contains all of the above (minus the Larranaga, AB prensado, and the Inka), plus:

4 Romeo y Julietta No. 3
4 Montecristo Open Juniors
4 Cohiba Siglo I
1 RyJ No. 2
1 Santa Damiana Tubulares
(All the above were tubed and removed from tubes)
3 HdM Petit Robusto
1 Montecristo No. 4
3 Inka Poderoso Maduro
1 Inka Bombasso Maduro
1 Chinchalero Picadillos

I have a Xikar Xi1 cutter, a Colibri firebird and a fake Dupont Gatsby lighter, and a Tommy Bahama ashtray (and my tipple of choice as you can see, the Laphroaig Quarter cask...although I'm partial to a good bourbon!).

I'm very happy with my collection now...just painfully aware that I can't really afford to smoke more than once or twice a month. I've managed to amass these cigars/accessories almost exclusively as gifts!! I can't wait till I can one day actually afford an entire box of cigars!!

One of my wine coolers recently went on the blink and started to cool my cigars to a lower temperature than is generally considered acceptable so I purchased a new one.

To my surprise its bigger than the others (this one is 28 bottle, the others must have been 18) so happy days more room for fine smokes :)

Ordered from toyourhome.co.uk £125 which I think is good value to keep your sticks at a relatively constant temp all year round (my flat gets warm in the summer).
