  • American Cigars - Believe the hype?

I don't know much about American cigars at all, and was wondering if you could tell me if they're worth trying - I've included
a few of the big'ish list they have on their site in the hope that somebody could shed some light on them!

    Padron

    Cubanidad

    New Cuba

    Origen

    Saint Luis Ray

    Any ideas?

Better read the forum rules mate - discussion of non-UK sources is not permitted.

P.S. Most of them aren't worth smoking. They look great but taste bland generally.

Padron, Arturo Fuente and Ashton would be the 3 only half-decent brands I have encountered so far.

To be fair the question was only about brands and whether they were worth trying, no query about importation of cigars that I can see. But as the man said, those are the only three brands I hear anything much good about really.

By discussing non-UK sources and 'a customs risk' you are discussing tax evasion and potentially making the participants and owners of this forum part of a conspiracy to evade tax. Do not discuss non-UK sources.

I would also suggest slowing down a little, get to know your new hobby and this community before you worry about 'BOMB SOME MOFO'S' ....just a friendly observation

Good point Monkey66, there seems to be an upward trend towards people signing up with the main aim of getting into swapping smokes as soon as possible, there is more to this forum than just waiting for the postman.

Surely just using the phrase 'Bomb some mofo's' Is worth a ban or a least a good old English slap?

I got my finger on the trigger!

Dude! I'm not sure any of these sticks are, as you call them "American cigars." They are, however, NCs.

Now, to the important stuff - As others have suggested, you might want to slow down a bit and get to know the forum and it's members before you launch into a quest for sticks. Posting as you do only raises red flags about you intentions and your true desire to be a part of this community. And the need to edit your post above for rules violations does not help.

Just to try and turn this thread around into something productive, rather than letting it go to waste. Are there any cigars that a produced within the united states? If so, has anyone tried any, and would any of them be worth a recommendation?

                            Long shot im sure.
