  • Mexico...TJ??

So, I not long found out, that this Christmas I will not be opening my presents under the tree! Instead I will be on a cruise to Mexico! I'm pretty excited, as I've never been to Mexico....or on a cruise for that matter, so should be a great week or so.

As I have been able to enjoy a Cuban since arriving back in the states, and all the NC I have had since I have been here not hitting the spot, I see this as a first great chance to make sure I get as many great smokes in whilst i'm on the ship and in Mexico. So I'm hoping someone might be able to help.

The first stop on the cruise is in Cabo, where I have a few hours. I'm hoping that there is somewhere reliable here I can pick up a good selection of single cubans to enjoy on the rest of the trip. I don't suppose anyone has any knowledge that they may be able to offer on this area? I'm obviously looking at TJ mainly here, however...I don't know exactly where in Mexico you live so I could be well off the mark.

Failing this, half way through the trip we have a few days in Puerto Vallarta, where if I can't pick anything up in Cabo, I hope I can pick up from here for the few days spent here, and on the way back. So if anyone has knowledge of this area also, that would be great!

    Thanks in advance!

I'm In a Cabo State of Mind!

Aaaahhh! Cabo San Lucas! One of my favorite places in the world! Christmas in Cabo is very cool!, indeed! Do visit the town square to see the nativity scene! The last time I was there at Christmas, the Baby Jesus was three times the size as some of the animals in the manger!

When I go there, I usually take my own puros, but there is a LCdH in Cabo San Lucas Centro that I always visit. CLICK HERE!
You might be able to pick up a
Edmundo Dantes El Conde 109 Mexico Regional Edition. Fantastic Puro!
Now, as far as Puerto Vallarta, I'm told two hombres named Gerry and Victor () run the local LCdH. I've never been there, but I've read good things about the place, located at Aldama #170 in Zona Centro.

    Mexico is a
magical place, chico....enjoy your trip, mon!

One of the Herbie movies was filmed in Puerta Vallarta. A useless fact - I'm full of 'em.

Went there in 1996, had a great time.

Didn't smoke cigars then so can't remember the situation.

TJ to the rescue! Thank you sir.

Very valuable information, I should be able to make a visit to both LCdH that you suggested. I will probably make a mad dash from the ship to the one in Cabo, so I have plenty of stock for the rest of the journey! I think ill head to the market square anyway to see what is going on. I also have to make a trip to the Hard Rock Cafe haha...pick up a glass!

And thanks Ward too, for your very.....valuable information hehe! I shall keep my eyes peeled for Herbie!

          Cabo Wabo Sammy!

If you are a fan of tequila, you might want to visit Cabo Wabo which is in the center of town, near to town square. CLICK ME!

Ah very interesting! Not a huge fan of Tequila, but I have been to the Cantina at Tahoe, and we had a great time there. Although I avoided it like the plague...my friends ordered on of the largest margaritas I have ever seen! Might be worth heading down for a couple of drinks for sure.

I had no idea Hagar owned it though, or that there was a mini chain of them. I can only imagine how much of a ball his birthday bashes must be!
