  • Cigars and cruise ships

Currently steaming down the coast of Mexico on board Cunard Queen Victoria. The ship has a good cigar lounge, great seats and lovely decor, plus a small but good selection of popular sticks - montes, Chiba, hoyos, r&j, including some monte sublimes. Some prices are not bad either - just enjoyed a r & j Churchill for $16 US. Also plenty for the wife to do whilst you settle down for a good cigar!

I wish our cruise ship had a cigar lounge

Our rooms porch became my lounge!

My folks are due on the Queen Vic out of LA in Feb. Might have to point my old man (an ex Hamlet smoker) in the direction of the Cigar Lounge... or maybe not, I can already hear him moaning in his Lancashire drawl "16 dollars for a bloody cigar... 16 dollars?"

Just back from my cruise, fantastic! Great cigar lounge with plenty of armchairs / sofa's, great decor, great drinks service etc. There was a humidor but I only glimpsed inside briefly. Nothing worth getting imo. No Cubans.
The cigar lounge was open from around 11 am until late.
It was predominantly cigarette smokers who frequented the lounge but the extraction system was 1st class and I could barley keep a wiff of my own smokes let alone the dreaded faggs! I say predominantly, I saw only one other cigar smoker, a young drunken lad trying impress his girlfriend by drinking more Brandy than he could handle and inhaling a medium sized dog rocket. He made it half way through the cigar before running out to throw up. Classy.
A great place to hold a herf if anyone ever considers it
