  • Tuesday 21st April.

Raining here today, so that means that the previous two days sunshine was our summer.Working my way up to a Rooibos and another Juan lopez No2. Really looking forward to it, as the one i had last night was first class. Hope everybody enjoys their day and gets a chance to smoke some decent cigars.

    Romeo y Julieta, Romeo No2.
From cj in the stick in stick out swap.

Wow! My first one of these, and I'll definitely be going back.

What a powerful smoke from the start. The last 1/3 was sublime. Very nutty in taste, and I thought it would have gone well with a single malt.

A top cigar! Akin to the taste of walnuts, I thought. It warmed me up inside.

I've smoked larger Romeo y Julieta cigars. This was quite a discovery!

Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure no 1 mild but nice after a quick BBQ.
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

Like the sound of that one Robusto.Sounds something like the R+J Cedros which normally come tubed.Would be ideal as a morning smoke; not too heavy going early in the day.Might add this one to my wish list.

Glad you like it mate, it came straight outta my honeymoon and sat there waiting to jump back in it's lil tube and head to Deal. I found, for the size, them to be really nice.

                      Jealous

Sounds like you all had some great smoks today. All I have left is a King Edward Coronet that I found buried in the glove box in the car. Wish I'd cut out the middle man and threw it straight in the bin. Also wish my parents would hurry up and finish their holiday. My step dad is taking great delight in texting his review of the latest cigar he has tried. (all done in the interests of research!).

Dippy No2, really enjoying this smoke i can see why it is preferred to the monte 2. Quite mild but plenty of smoke and leathery flavours.

                          Tuesday Feels Like Monday

Another horrific day for TJ. Must be something to do with the storm brewing up North.

After getting on the wrong subway (tube) and later being stopped by a State Trooper and avoiding a ticket, thanks to the shinney object I carry with me, I finally arrived at la casa de TJ just in time for the clouds to open up.

So after all that, I needed something that would perk me up a bit before the evening meal. So I went straight for the RASS (that's Ramon Allones Specially Sellected senor Larry).

A Robusto of a puro with loads of tobacco flavor, but after 1/3 of the way through this fine stick, I tasted hints of Cuban tobacco, with a finish that reminded me of the finest Habana tobacco on the planet.

Pick one up and try it sometime!
